FREE Training Event – 7th September 2011

Appia Training Event 2010Following the success of last year’s Asset Management training session,  we have hired a larger venues, and are organising our second FREE one-day Training Seminar to help Asset Managers and Engineers to get more value from UKPMS surveys and systems, particularly within an Asset Management Context.

The Seminar will cover the following general topics:

  • Data Analysis to realise the benefits of your HAMP
  • Materials and construction methods for successful lifecycle planning
  • A local Authority approach to Asset Valuation including DRC and GRC and achieving the timescales
  • UKPMS and PCIS Update
  • The use of lifecycle plans within Local Authorities, PFI’s and DBFO’s
  • Value Management – making the most of limited budgets

The event will also provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss any specific issues or concerns and to share experiences with other users.

The day will be chaired by Stephen Child who as a member of the Roads Board and ex-Chairman of the County Surveyors Society has extensive knowledge in Asset Management and its practices.

Barry Cleave, Head of Asset Management for TRL and Project Director for the PCIS support contract will also be present giving an update on the PCIS support contract and the way forward.

The Seminars are FREE but places are limited and will be available on a first-come-first serve basis; with a maximum of 2 delegates per Authority.
